Select the Magnetic Lasso tool .
The border of the magnetic lasso snaps to the edges of a selection. (You may want to use a different selection tool depending on the shape of the object you want to select.)

Click in the image to set the first fastening point as an anchor. Then, move the pointer along the edge you want to trace and drag back over the starting point and click to close the border. |

Choose Select > Feather. |

Enter a value for the Feather Radius, and click OK. |

Choose Select > Inverse to select the previously unselected part of the image. |

Choose Window > Show Swatches. |

Click a color in the Swatches palette to pick a foreground color to be used as the background for your image. |

Choose Edit > Fill. |

In the Fill dialog box, for Use, choose Foreground color to fill the selection with the color you just selected. |

Click OK to fill the slelection. |
